Or as Tina Fey and Amy Poehler like to call it, “What are they going to do fire us?” While I feel like this year’s show and fashion choices have been a little disappointing, these are the people who shined through.
#10 Jenna Dewan Tatum in Carolina Herrera: I am not a huge fan of this dress, but the color is to die for and she looks incredible.
#9 Anna Kendrick in Monique Lhullier: Kendrick looks like a fairytale. Hair, makeup, dress: she is truly a wish come true.
#8 Greer Grammer in Lorena Sarbu: This is one of my all time favorite Miss Golden Globe dresses. Grammer definitely twinkles every time she graces the stage with the big prize.
#7 Gina Rodriguez in Badgley Mishka: For her first real awards show, Gina completely nailed it. Her dress is very flattering to her figure, and there is nothing understated about her win. She deserves it all.
#6 Helen Mirren in Dolce & Gabbana: Helen can have it all. 69 years old and she is out shining most of the people on this carpet. Mirren has a killer figure, and more power to her for flaunting it.
#5 Viola Davis in Donna Karan Atelier: Viola, viola, viola. She was killing it with this dress. Most of the dresses were disappointing this year, so I loved seeing her owning that runway in true Annalise Keating fashion.
#4 Amy Adams in Versace: Amy Adams stuns at every awards show, so I knew she would not disappoint me tonight. Her steel blue dress complimented her eyes perfectly and proved that this color needs to be worn way, way more often.
#3 Jessica Chastain in Atelier Versace: Chastain is another actress that never disappoints on the red carpet. This curve hugging dress made my mouth hit the ground and put new meaning into the phrase “Va va voom.”
#2 Emily Blunt in Michael Kors: Emily just looked so breathtaking. This dress was understated (and gorgeous), but her jewelry really makes the whole ensemble pop. She was truly a vision in white.
#1 Emma Stone in Lanvin: All day every day I will be crazy for Emma Stone. Her hair and makeup alone were sheer perfection. The jumpsuit was a nice break from the traditional ball gowns, but Stone dominates every red carpet no matter what she wears. I will always bow down to her.
